After a near fatal car accident in 2010, Michael Cassidy felt that God was trying to get his attention in order to refocus his energies. In this new season, Michael felt strongly that God was saying that he needed to invest time and energy into mentoring younger leaders, but he was unclear as to the form this would take or how it would happen. A few months later at Angus Buchan’s Mighty Men’s Conference in KwaZulu-Natal, Michael found himself amongst eight younger leaders from George who over the course of the weekend asked him to be a mentor to them. Thus was the first “Barnabas Group” born.

Since then the ministry has expanded to include nine groups and over two hundred men and women in leadership positions across South Africa who meet quarterly. This is some of the material covered so far. We hope it will be a blessing to you in your Christian walk.
