James Catford represents to Michael everything involved in getting the Bible out around the world and into the hands of ordinary people. Likewise his passion for evangelism and his commitment to standing by African Enterprise and its programmes have often been a great boost to Michael when his spirits were flagging. Also when James worked for Hodder and Stoughton heading up their Religious Book Department, he was a great blessing to Michael with several of his volumes which Hodder and Stoughton carried. James’ deep commitment to Africa and developing Christian leadership in Africa have greatly encouraged Michael along the way.
