We have begun a process of digitising the archives of Michael Cassidy and African Enterprise. The process of building a digital archive may continue for some time in terms of getting the backlog of material into digital form and ingested into this repository. While significant effort is put in at the start of such a process, in one sense it never ends as the documentation of the activities of the ongoing mission are loaded to the repository each year. We welcome your participation in the effort of growing this digital archive.
SEARCH
Feel free to search for a topic of interest in the search box.
BROWSE
If you wish to browse through galleries of curated material:
- Click on the Browse button.
- Click on the gallery you are interested in.
- If it is a manuscript gallery select the manuscript you wish to open and when the Preview page opens, click on the link View Flipbook.
- Once this window opens, click on the top right hand corner or bottom right of the page to turn over to the next digital page (you may need to resize the pop up window that the Flipbook loads in to see both pages).
SEARCH WITHIN
If you want to search for specific text within a manuscript click on the Download Plain Text link. This will download a plain text PDF that you can then search in a PDF reader by using the keys Ctrl F (Windows) and Cmd F (Mac).
ORDER
You can also order a high resolution version of the publication by clicking on the order link. If this is released to you then, if it is a manuscript, you will have a high quality version of it that not only looks like the original but is also fully searchable, if it is an audio file you will be able to listen to it in high quality, if a video, you will be able to view the best quality available and if a photograph, then it will be of print quality. These are made available for personal use only and we may request a donation to help to sustain the digital archive.
